THE TEAM

Jane Eyles-Bennett

Jane Eyles-Bennett is Hotspace's designer extraordinaire! Having been designing since 1993 and with a number of investment properties herself, she is one person who knows how to make property profitable through great design.

For 6 years she owned and operated a commercial interior design practise in Auckland, NZ. Since selling the practise, her focus has been on residential property renovations.

Hotspace was born soon after her first renovation for one of her own investment properties. When the valuation returned at $30k more than purchase price after only 3 weeks and less than $3,000 expense, friends starting asking for advice!

When the weekend rolls around, Jane loves nothing better than catching up with friends, drinking delicious wine and working out how to save the world!

Jane is the owner of Hotspace Consultants and covers the Sunshine Coast area (Queensland, Australia).

Liza

With a passion for all things pretty, Liza started her career in design as a Visual Merchandiser and then went on to discover and work in several other areas of the design industry.

After having worked overseas for a number of years, she returned to Australia in 2004 to complete a further two qualifications in Interior Design and Decorating.

Liza’s passion for property and design led her to Hotspace where she assists investors and home owners with property renovations in the South East Queensland area.

Outside of work she and her husband enjoy nothing better than catching up with friends, taking the dog for a run on the beach and making plans for their own property portfolio.

Liza is a Hotspace design consultant and covers Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Toowoomba - and everywhere in between (Queensland, Australia).

Wendy Tarr

Wendy's passion for houses and design was instigated by her first 'Wendy House' at age 5. Since then, beginning in 1990, she has kept busy with various design projects for herself and for others. These have included renovating rental & investment properties and running her own business helping people prepare their homes for sale.

With an Interior Design diploma and qualifications in colour consulting, Feng Shui and Property presentation, she brings an extensive skill base to the Hotspace team. Her experience, flair for design and instinctive skills further add to the relevance she has as a Hotspace designer where her primary role is giving design advice to enhance and improve the appeal and value of residential property.

Having travelled extensively she has an appreciation, understanding and passion for various architectural styles, cultures and lifestyles.

Other than design, her interests include tennis, sailing and spending time with her family.

Wendy is a Hotspace design consultant and covers the Auckland area (New Zealand).

Judy Tindill

Judy started designing interiors when she was 10 years old by converting her father's shed into an art studio! Many years later while living in Washington DC, she embarked on a design degree which kick-started her professional career.

After working for a number of design firms, Judy established her own commercial interior design practice in 1998. She also teaches business management at the Auckland School of Interior Design and enjoys helping students to develop these essential skills.

She has personally renovated many houses, from an historic stone coach house in Ireland to ex-state houses in Auckland. After saying "no more!" on several occasions, she is doing it again "it's in the blood!"

Family is number one passion for Judy - she has three adult children - followed closely by film, theatre, reading and travel.

Judy is a Hotspace design consultant and covers the North Auckland and Northland areas (New Zealand).
